Rangers hold a 16-point lead going into the crucial derby

Rangers and Celtic come together for the second time this season when they meet in Saturday’s crucial derby.
Steven Gerrard’s men got the better of their rivals when the sides last met in October, with Connor Goldson’s double earning a 2-0 win for the visitors at Celtic Park.
That was one of 19 victories secured in 21 games by the league leaders this season.

Neil Lennon’s side will be out for revenge as they seek a vital win.
FORM
Rangers remain unbeaten in the Premiership this season, last dropping points in September.
The league leaders’ only domestic stumble came in the 3-2 Betfred Cup defeat against St Mirren earlier this month, since when they’ve registered victories against Motherwell, St Johnstone and Hibs before avenging that cup exit with a 2-0 win in Paisley on Wednesday.
Celtic have been less consistent this season, drawing four and losing one. That’s seen them fall 16 points behind their rivals in the title race, albeit with three games in hand.
Since the 1-1 draw against St Johnstone earlier this month, however, Lennon’s men appear to have turned a corner. Following victories over Kilmarnock, Ross County and Hamilton Accies, Wednesday afternoon saw them comfortably beat Dundee United 3-0.
