Tennis is a worldwide sport, and so it naturally draws the intrigue of so many big names.

However, their presence is only really felt at the elite events, with the Grand Slams in particular drawing the superstars out to watch their favourite players.

Whilst the French Open and Australian Open do command interest, they both pale in comparison to those who routinely show up at Wimbledon and the US Open.

Being in England and America respectively, the accessibility is significant, and so stars from every facet of the entertainment industry flock to these two tournaments.

This year even saw Spider-Man make an appearance at the All-England Club, as Tom Holland came to watch Carlos Alcaraz try to defend his crown.

What Carlos Alcaraz said after meeting Tom Holland at Wimbledon

In what was unsurprisingly a well-documented encounter, the two met for the very first time on the practice courts.

Both seemed starstruck by one another, as Holland sought to get a picture for his brother.

The two engaged in small talk before swiftly moving on to their shared love of golf, and later on, the Spaniard actually spoke to reporters about their conversation.

Alcaraz revealed: “Once we set up a match on golf, I just go for it. I saw him playing sometimes. There are some videos of him playing golf. I would say he could beat me.

“But yeah, I would love to play against him in the golf course. For me, it would be such an honour. I will try to set it up in these two days that I will have much time to do it. So let’s see if he will be available, and we’ll tee it up.”

What other stars were at Wimbledon this year?

2025 was a great year for looking out for big names at Wimbledon, as a whole host of movie megastars made their way to one of tennis’ most prestigious events.

Naturally, royalty can always be found, with Princess Kate and Queen Camilla just two spotted in attendance over the two weeks.

Holland was one of many film stars to also make the journey, although it was far shorter for him than it was for the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Nicole Kidman.

Many big-name Brits were keen to make an appearance too, with David Beckham, Hugh Grant, Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Garfield just four of the foremost stars.
