Bryson DeChambeau continued his media blackout after his final round of The Open.
Once again, DeChambeau opted against answering questions from reporters at Royal Birkdale, where he finished in a tie for 14th.
It represents his best finish across the four major championships this season, with the American having missed the cut at the other three tournaments.
DeChambeau was embroiled in controversy at The Open, receiving a two-shot penalty on Friday, but he will be proud of his overall efforts at Royal Birkdale.
However, his negative side emerged once more late on Sunday after DeChambeau failed to speak to reporters at the Southport course.

Ali Stafford of Sky Sports was present at the venue, and shared the information: “Bryson DeChambeau may have avoided a Grand Slam of missed cuts this week, but he ends having not engaged with the media after an eighth consecutive major round.
“He walked straight past the mixed zone after a final-round 72, saying ‘hope you guys have a great night’ as he walked past the waiting media.
“He then took a few smiling selfies with fans before heading away. A week of highs and lows for the two-time major champion.”
It is nothing new from DeChambeau, who is clearly very unhappy with the way he has been treated by the media in recent times.

DeChambeau may not have enjoyed the perfect week at The Open, but his status in the game was perfectly summarised at Royal Birkdale.
He just played out one of the biggest roller-coasters in recent major history, with his two-shot penalty for inadvertently improving his intended backswing taking centre stage.
The American showed great strength to bounce back from that setback, however only after he really let himself down by threatening to not play on Saturday because of his punishment.

Moreover, as he always does, the LIV Golf superstar divided opinion, with Rory McIlroy saying DeChambeau deserved his penalty, while many of his compatriots jumped to his defence.
And at the very end of it all, he let down the media once again, but made sure that the fans were not left in that same position.
