West Ham United fans do not actually appear particularly keen on the idea of signing Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla.

David Ornstein has claimed in the Athletic that West Ham have already had a bid knocked back for the striker.

But West Ham fans appear to feel that their are better options out there.

And they are questioning why they have overlooked the likes of Boulaye Dia and Patson Daka, if they are prepared to pay so much for En-Nesyri.

West Ham still have time in their pursuit of a striker, but they will be eager to get a deal over the line sooner rather than later.

With Sebastien Haller gone, West Ham’s options going forward now look short.

En-Nesyri has enjoyed a solid season in Spain, where he has scored 12 goals for Sevilla, but he may not be the most exciting target that the club have been linked with in recent weeks.
