The Saudi Pro League, from next season, will have a whole host of superb players that they will be able to count on with the likes of Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez and Fabinho being part of the new league.

This will naturally bring the eyes of football fans around the Middle Eastern country to these stadiums to watch these stars in action, but just what are the top five biggest stadiums in the division where these crunch matches will take place?

5. Prince Mohamaed Fin bahd Stadium

The fifth biggest stadium on this list belongs to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq. The capacity of the stadium is around 26,000, which will be a far cry to what their new signing Jordan Henderson is used to. Henderson, who joined the club from Liverpool this summer, is used to playing at grounds with over 50,000 people in it.

4. Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium

Coming in at number four, at a slightly higher capacity of 27,000, is the stadium that will play host to Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad, two of the four clubs that are owned by the PIF (Public Investment Fund). Riyad Mahrez, Allan Saint-Maximin and Roberto Firmino will line up at this impressive ground next season.

3. King Abdul Aziz Stadium

Coming in at number 3 is the stadium that plays host to Al-Wehda with a capacity of 33,000. The Saudi Pro League side finished 13th last season but still have one of the highest-capacity stadiums in the country. Oscar Duarte, the former Espanyol and Levante defender, may well be the best-known player from the Saudi team.

2. King Abdullah Stadium

Coming in at number two also plays host to Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad games but with a capacity of 65,000. The stadium also plays host to a multitude of different sports and is nicknamed the Jewel. The club’s rivalry is nicknamed the Saudi El Clasico, so it seems only right these games are played at a stadium like this.

1. King Fahd International Stadium

Coming in at number is the stadium that hosts Al-Shabab’s games and also Al-Hilal’s games. With a capacity of 68,000, the stadium dwarfs every team in the division although nether side could win the title last season.
