To say Sing Your Dialect took over the internet this week would be something of an understatement. And Declan Rice took the concept to a whole new level last night.

The West Ham star made an appearance on the viral Twitter space. With Rice doing a rendition of Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ as over 70,000 concurrent listeners tuned in to Sing Your Dialect for the moment.

The feature from Twitter was fully rolled out to all users this week. And Sing Your Dialect has quickly become the hottest property on the app, with an abundance of brands and organisations tuning in to listen.

Indeed, other performers on the night included YouTuber Chunkz as well as the entire back-four for EFL side Morecambe, who belted out The Script on their way home from their 2-2 draw against Charlton.

But Rice was no doubt the highlight of the night. With the England international taking to the virtual stage as numbers for Sing Your Dialect peaked.

Indeed, it was a sensational piece of Twitter history to witness, and on social media, West Ham fans were in awe of the midfielder’s performance on the night.
