Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he thinks Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks can ‘go right to the top’ of the game after a stunning week.
Spurs hammered Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with goals from Harry Kane and Son Heung-min giving Spurs a quick 2-0 lead, before Mohamed Salah pulled one back for Liverpool.
However, goals either side of half time from Dele Alli and Kane again handed Spurs a thumping 4-1 win, capping off a superb week for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino saw his side win 1-0 at home to Bournemouth last weekend, before heading to the Bernabeu to claim a superb 1-1 draw away at Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Whilst star striker Kane will claim most of the plaudits, midfielder Harry Winks has enjoyed a superb week, having played every minute of Tottenham’s last three games.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been thrust into regular action due to injuries to Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama, but he has stepped up to the plate with a series of outstanding performances.

With Pochettino seemingly on his way to developing another English star, pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that Spurs are the best team for young English players right now, backing Winks to ‘go right to the top’ alongside Alli and Kane.
Redknapp praised Winks for a superb week, not only impressing against Real Madrid but also shining against Liverpool, suggesting that he learned more in those two games than he would if he had gone out on loan to the Championship, just as Joshua Onomah has.
“What a week for Harry Winks. After an assured display at the Bernabeu, Winks shone in midfield for Tottenham against Liverpool at Wembley,” said Redknapp. “He is proof of why Premier League teams should give more English youngsters a chance. Winks will have learned more in those two matches than in a 46-game season on loan in the Championship.”
“Tottenham is the best place for young English players to develop. Winks is learning from one of the best managers in Mauricio Pochettino and training with England’s best in Harry Kane and Dele Alli. If Winks carries on like this, he can go right to the top,” he added.
