Sheffield Wednesday fans were far from impressed with Adam Reach’s display against Leeds United.

Sheffield Wednesday’s promotion hopes took a dent on Saturday afternoon as they lost 1-0 away at Yorkshire rivals Leeds United.
The Owls were beaten 2-1 at home by Brentford in midweek, and Carlos Carvalhal’s men were looking to bounce back as they made the short trip to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
However, Wednesday slipped to second consecutive defeat, as Chris Wood’s first half goal – prodding home from close range after Owls defenders misjudged a cross into the box – proved to be the winner for Leeds.
Wednesday did have a chance to grab something out of the game when Sam Hutchinson won a penalty having been fouled by Souleymane Doukara, but Jordan Rhodes’ spot kick was saved by Rob Green.
The result means that Wednesday’s play-off rivals are closing in on them in sixth place, with Carvalhal possibly looking nervously over his shoulder at the likes of Fulham and Preston.
After the game, Wednesday fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the game, and particularly criticised winger Adam Reach.

The summer signing from Middlesbrough arrived with a huge price tag, but has so far endured a hit-and-miss spell at Hillsborough, with fans getting on his back after his performance against Leeds.
Fans claimed that Reach is a waste of money as his crossing simply isn’t good enough, and questioned why Wednesday paid so much money to sign a limited player.
Some want him dropped in future as playing with him is like starting ten men, and believe Middlesbrough must be laughing having sold both Reach and Rhodes to Wednesday this season.
