Some Arsenal fans on Twitter seem a little envious over who Liverpool are reportedly set to sign.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are close to wrapping up a deal for 21-year-old Red Bull Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, with personal terms already agreed.
Konate has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks and now it looks like it’s finally going to happen.
Arsenal could do with some defensive reinforcements themselves during the summer transfer window and for £30 million, Konate could well prove himself a bargain in the Premier League.

Arsenal still have William Saliba to come back and although it’s a bit of a cliche, he may be like a new signing for Mikel Arteta – if the Spaniard plays him, that is.
Arteta loaned Saliba to Nice in Ligue 1 earlier this year and the 20-year-old – only 14 months younger than the would-be Liverpool signing – has impressed on a regular basis.
Whether he can impress Arteta, though, remains to be seen.
