If Pep Guardiola thinks highly of a footballer, it’s usually safe to say they’re a magnificent talent, such is the Spaniard’s eye for talent.
In that respect, Arsenal have made a wise move in targeting Bernardo Silva, who Guardiola believes is a magical player.
What has Pep Guardiola said?
Speaking after the £150,000-a-week man scored against Everton, Guardiola was left in no doubt about the ex-Monaco man’s ability.
The Independent quote him as saying: “What a player is all I can say. Everything he does he does incredibly well.”
There’s simply no question about it – Silva is superb.
The 59-cap Portugal international has scored 35 goals and provided 44 assists in 202 appearances since his £43.6m move to Manchester.
In that time, Silva has won three Premier League titles, as well as numerous domestic cups.
Can Arsenal sign Bernardo Silva?

It will be incredibly difficult, but in our view, it’s certainly possible.
Mikel Arteta knows Silva well having worked as Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City.
The 27-year-old even took to Twitter to call Arteta a great manager and also a great person after he was hired by the Gunners.

Interestingly, Silva also wants to leave after Manchester City secured the signing of Jack Grealish for £100m from Aston Villa.
Keep an eye on this saga, with just weeks until the transfer window shuts.
