Jordan Jones has lauded Glen Kamara on Instagram after he secured a transfer away from Michael Beale’s Rangers.

The 27-year-old was a popular member of a Rangers team that won the Scottish Premiership crown under Steven Gerrard’s stewardship, reached the Europa League final and were also crowned Scottish Cup champions.

Being a key member of stopping the ten is something that will make Glen Kamara a legend at Rangers for many, many years to come.

But now it’s time for the Finland international to start a new chapter in his career, as he has opted to move down south.

Kamara will be tasked with trying to help Leeds United earn promotion back to the Premier League after their relegation last season.

Well, judging by ex-Gers man Jones, they are getting a top-quality player because he lauded his former teammate in the comments section of his Instagram post, once his move was confirmed.

‘What a player man,” wrote Jones. ‘Good luck, bro’.

Right call from Kamara

It was only going to end one way if he had stayed on at Ibrox and that’s the midfielder just rotting away in the background.

The former Arsenal man is too good just to be sitting on the sidelines, as Beale continues to imprint his now name on this Rangers side.

They didn’t help themselves with that PSV defeat on Wednesday, but a little dose of the Glasgow derby on Sunday might help matters, or just make it really, really worse.
