Glenn Hoddle has claimed that Mo Salah is ‘exciting to watch’ and ‘any club in the world’ would want the Liverpool forward, as he told Premier League Productions (19/02/22 at 8:30 pm).
On Saturday, Salah netted his 17th Premier League goal of the season when he helped Liverpool beat Norwich City 3-1 at Anfield.
Added with that, it was also the 29-year-old’s 150th goal in Liverpool colours – only club legend, Roger Hunt, reached that mark in fewer games, 226 compared to Salah’s 232 games.
That just further epitomises that Salah is also a club legend and he could argue a case to be in the all-time Liverpool XI.
After only coming second to Hunt in reaching 150 goals, ex-Tottenham playmaker, Hoddle, waxed-lyrical about the man flying on the Anfield wings.
“It’s incredible, isn’t it,” said Hoddle. “I mean what a player. Ever since he has had that red shirt on, he has looked a Liverpool player.
“They have moulded everything around him. It’s important that they keep him. It’s important that he stays.
“Any club in the world would want him. But that’s an incredible stat. He is a fantastic player. He’s exciting to watch. Gets you off your seat.
“Not just a poacher or someone who scores just in the six-yard box. He does wonderful stuff on the football pitch. Scores exciting goals.”

Jurgen Klopp are now entering a crucial week in their season and one that could define what happens by the end of it.
The Reds play their all-important game in hand against Leeds United on Wednesday night, if they win that then they are only three points behind Manchester City in the table.
Added with that, they also have a League Cup final against Chelsea to look forward to.
The same applies, if they can add that trophy to their cabinet in February, then it will start the ball rolling for them during these final few months of the season.
