Frenkie de Jong has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

On Friday, it was reported that Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen wanted Frenkie de Jong as a team-mate.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Dane has recommended the young Ajax midfielder to Spurs as a potential January target.
And it’s safe to say that some Tottenham fans would love that to materialise, based on his latest performance.
The 21-year-old midfielder stole the show as the Netherlands beat world champions France 2-0 in Rotterdam during a Nations League clash last night.
De Jong, who has a £75 million price-tag [Sport], dominated N’golo Kante in the individual battle and here is how Tottenham supporters reacted to his display:
That’s all good and well, but can Spurs chairman Daniel Levy afford him? Probably not – well, not right now, and not in January.
And by the time Tottenham are on their way toward repaying the stadium debt, De Jong is likely to be plying his trade at a bigger, richer club.
With Mousa Dembele potentially leaving North London upon the expiration of his contract next summer, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would love De Jong as a replacement, but it just isn’t all that feasible.
