West Ham United star Declan Rice has praised Arsenal central defender David Luiz on Twitter for his performance against Manchester City.
Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, was impressed with the display produced by Luiz during the Gunners’ 2-0 victory over City at Wembley Stadium in London in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday evening.

According to WhoScored, Luiz, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 69%, won four headers, took 48 touches, and made one tackle, four interceptions and 11 clearances.
The Brazil international – who can also play as a defensive midfielder – was strong at the back, did not allow Gabriel Jesus much space, and made some very important interceptions and clearances.
FA Cup success
The win against City means that Arsenal have reached the final of the FA Cup.
Mikel Arteta’s side will now face either Manchester United or Chelsea in the final at Wembley, with the Red Devils and the Blues set to face each other in the other semi-final tie on Sunday.
