Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after The Athletic reported that some of Spurs’ players feel as though they’ve already learned more under Antonio Conte than they did under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Nuno was in charge at Tottenham for four months, while Conte has only been at the helm for just over a week, but some players already feel as though the Italian has taught them more.
There are two ways of looking at this. Either Conte is a genius who has been able to get through four months’ worth of work in just a week, or Nuno didn’t really teach the Spurs players very much during his time at the club.
Either way, it seems as though the squad are making more progress at Hotspur Way under Conte, and that can only be a good thing.
Tottenham fans were quick to praise the manager, while others were even giving Daniel Levy credit for appointing the Italian.
