Yannick Bolasie has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli being included in the Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Arsenal forward Martinelli will play for Brazil at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

It is an amazing feat when you consider that Martinelli is just 21 and has been picked ahead of Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, a Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner.

Martinelli, who cost Arsenal £6 million (Goal) when they signed him from Ituano, has been superb for Mikel Arteta’s side since his recovery from injury.

The forward has established himself as an important player in the Gunners’ team and is now one of the first names on the Arsenal teamsheet.

Martinelli has scored five goals and provided two assists in 13 Premier League matches for the Gunners so far this season.

The 21-year-old has also made three starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Arsenal so far this campaign.

Former Everton and Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has been hugely impressed by the progress made by Martinelli.
