Spurs fans have issued a mixed reaction on Twitter to the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust (THST) wanting to meet owner Joe Lewis.
As reported by Sky Sports, THST declined to meet chairman Daniel Levy, and instead, they insisted on meeting the club’s owners ENIC Group.
Tottenham aren’t the only club in the Premier League that are calling for the head of their owners and those in the boardroom.
Manchester United fans recently protested against their American owners, which resulted in their home clash against Liverpool being postponed last Sunday.
The recent European Super League debacle has ignited a lot of fires amongst supporters, who have become sick and tired with how the power has shifted away from them and towards their disinterested Billionaire owners.
Whilst Spurs fans aren’t demanding their owners to sell up with the ferocity of Man United fans, or their rivals, they are still pretty angered by how the club has been run and their attempt to enter the ESL.
It’s going to be interesting to see the reaction of the Spurs fans when 10,000 of them are allowed back into the stadiums for their final home games of the season.
Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy will no doubt get a mention and a message will be sent, but more than likely, and as always, it will fall on deaf ears.
