England Under-21’s have crashed out of the European Championships after last-gasp heartbreak against Croatia tonight.
The Three Lions needed a 2-0 win to go through, and it looked like it was going to happen as Eberechi Eze scored from the spot before a Curtis Jones goal looked to be enough.
However, Domagoj Bradaric stepped up to score an injury time screamer, sending England crashing out whilst going through to the knockout stages themselves.
England will be gutted to have come so close to going through before falling in the final minutes, but Liverpool fans are loving it.
Reds supporters aren’t exactly known for loving the England national team, but they had even more reason to love Croatia’s win this evening.
That’s because former Liverpool midfielder Igor Biscan was the man in charge of the Croatia side, and he celebrated wildly on the touchline as his side went through in dramatic fashion.

Biscan spent five years with Liverpool as a player, and is now carving out a strong managerial career having impressed in charge of Olimpija Ljubljana, Rijeka and now Croatia Under-21’s.
Liverpool fans have been admitting that they loved to see Biscan downing England, branding him a ‘hero’ and a ‘legend’ whilst calling the scenes ‘lovely’.
