Declan Rice has posted ‘what a guy’ on his Instagram story to Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka after their link-up at England’s latest training camp.
Both the West Ham and Arsenal duo have been in outstanding form in the Premier League this season.
At Euro 2020, West Ham’s hard-hitting midfielder was one of Gareth Southgate’s best players and a key reason as to why the Three Lions reached the final at Wembley.
Whilst Saka also produced his magic out on that flank, and despite a heartbreaking end against Italy, he has taken his game to another level for his boyhood club this term.
When Rice sent the message to Saka, he accompanied the posts with an image of the duo all smiles in their England gear.
Nonetheless, every team craves those Champions League spots and, both West Ham and Arsenal are no different in England’s top-flight.
But, West Ham’s defeat to London rivals Tottenham over the weekend might have dented their chances of securing fourth place at the end of the season.
Whilst David Moyes and his players might now have to focus on another Europa League finish – and winning the competition outright because they did knock Sevilla out recently.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are in the driving seat to finish fourth because, not only are they ahead of the likes of Spurs and Manchester United, but they also have games in hand.
Nonetheless, both Rice and Saka will take a rest from Premier League duty and now hope to connect their ever-improving talents on the international stage with their country.
