Leeds United manager Garry Monk has been hailed by pundit Stan Collymore.
Pundit Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to praise Leeds United boss Garry Monk after his side beat Reading 2-0 at Elland Road on Tuesday night.
Leeds were left disappointed last Friday as they lost 2-0 away at Brighton and Hove Albion, but hit back in style with a 2-0 win over third-placed Reading.

Chris Wood’s first-half opener set Leeds on their way, and after Reading dominated possession, Charlie Taylor was fouled inside the penalty area late on, allowing Souleymane Doukara to score from the spot and seal the win.
Leeds now lie sixth in the Championship, just two points behind third-placed Reading, but still ten points off the automatic promotion places.

Leeds fans are unsurprisingly dreaming of a return to the Premier League, and much of the credit must go to manager Garry Monk, who has worked wonders so far at Elland Road.
The former Swansea City boss, 37, surprisingly took the Leeds job over the summer, as many felt that he could have landed a safer position, having seen Brian McDermott, Dave Hockaday, Darko Milanic, Neil Redfearn, Uwe Rosler and Steve Evans all lose their jobs under Leeds’ trigger-happy owner Massimo Cellino.
So far though, Monk has not only survived, but thrived, as he’s won 13 of his 26 games in charge in all competitions, and has turned Leeds – a perennial mid-table side in recent years – into a legitimate contender for the play-offs.
After Tuesday’s win over Reading, pundit Stan Collymore took to Twitter to heap praise on Monk, stating that he is doing a ‘fantastic job’ at Leeds, adding that he is delighted for him – something many people feel after he was harshly sacked by Swansea in December of last year.
