It looks very much like Aston Villa are closing in on a deal to sign Morgan Sanson.
The Marseille midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Villa Park in recent days and weeks.
And according to Sky Sports today, Aston Villa have agreed a £14 million fee with the Ligue 1 side to sign the Frenchman this month.
The report adds that Sanson will arrive in Birmingham sometime next week to undergo a medical with the Bodymoor Heath club.

This would and could be a very good signing for Dean Smith.
But it’s already been a very decent season for the Villans – who sit 11th in the Premier League – and it could be a lot better if they get their January recruitment right.
Sanson represents a good start to their winter business but that’s what it must be, a start.
Smith needs more players if Aston Villa are going to finish in the top half.
