Jamie Carragher has told Super Sunday on Sky Sports that Aaron Cresswell has been a ‘great signing’ for West Ham.
The TV pundit stated before West Ham’s thrilling 3-3 draw on Sunday ‘what a consistent performer’ Cresswell has been for the club.
It’s been nearly seven years since Cresswell swapped Portman Road for Upton Park for just £2 million (BBC Sport).
And Carragher was praising him for what he has given to West Ham during his time at the club.
“Well, Aaron Cresswell set to make his 217th Premier League appearance for West Ham,” said Cresswell. “A great signing from Ipswich.
“He has started the last 46 of their last 47 Premier League games. It just goes to show what a consistent performer he has been for West Ham.”

It could be argued that Cresswell has been one of the best performers since David Moyes returned to East London.
There’s no doubt that he has been one of the most improved because his form was up and down prior to the Scotsman’s arrival.
And whilst Cresswell would have been disappointed with how they played in the second half against Arsenal yesterday, they are still in contention to finish in the top four in what has been an outstanding season for the club.
