Speaking on Tottenham’s YouTube channel, Fabio Paratici has been discussing Spurs’ strong start to the season, praising the work of Nuno Espirito Santo so far.
It’s fair to say that Nuno wasn’t Spurs’ first-choice to replace Jose Mourinho this summer. After all, they pursued the likes of Antonio Conte, Gennaro Gattuso and Paulo Fonseca before settling on the former Wolves boss.
However, Nuno has gotten off to the best possible start in north London, winning each of his first three league games, and Paratici has been ecstatic with what he’s seen so far.
What’s been said?
Paratici was full of praise for Spurs’ new manager.
“In the last two years, we’ve not seen this level of performance, so out target with Nuno is to reinvigorate the team, give more discipline, give more work in terms of physical work, more organisation. Nuno has done this kind of job, he’s doing a great job,” Paratici said.

Perfect start
Well, we can’t disagree with Paratici on this one.
Spurs have been excellent so far this season, they’re top of the league and they are yet to concede a single goal.
Nuno joined Spurs in a tough time, but after a strong summer window, he’s been able to get this team playing.
Of course, it’s impossible to judge a new manager after just three games. Don’t forget that things were going well for Jose Mourinho this time last year, but there’s a feeling that things could be slightly different for Nuno.
