Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has hailed Arsenal full-back Kieran Tierney in the Daily Record.
Tierney was in great form for Scotland last night, as he provided three assists – including both of McGinn’s goals against the Faroe Islands.
The Arsenal man showed his attacking quality, as Scotland picked up a comfortable victory.
And McGinn is glad that people are now starting to recognise the Arsenal man’s quality, although he claims he has known just how good the left-back is all along.
“We’ve watched Kieran do it all season with Arsenal,” he said.
“People are sitting up and taking notice of him but we’ve known all along the quality he brings.
“He’s put it on a plate for me with the first one and right on the napper with the second.”
Tierney certainly has come into his own at Arsenal this term, with the 23-year-old spoken about in glowing terms at the Emirates Stadium.
Tierney is widely tipped to be a potential future captain of Arsenal, as his passionate displays have been so impressive.
The good news for Arsenal is that the left-back looks to have made it through the international break without suffering any injuries.
And Arsenal will surely start him in their game against Liverpool on Saturday evening now.
