Some Leeds fans have been reacting after it was reported that Valencia are keen on signing Helder Costa this summer.
Costa is no longer Leeds’ first choice on the right-wing after the arrival of Raphinha, and with the likes of Noa Lang linked to Elland Road, there are questions around whether or not he’ll be needed any longer.
Costa could be going to Valencia this summer if Phil Hay is to be believed, and it seems as though fans are open to the idea of the former Wolves man heading to Spain.
Indeed, fans are very happy to hear that Costa could be on his way out.
If we’re being brutally honest, Leeds don’t need Costa anymore. Raphinha is the first choice on the right, and the likes of Ian Poveda and Crysencio Summerville should emerge as first-team options this season.
Valencia signing Costa would give Leeds a cash boost and it would allow them to shift a player who isn’t first choice.
