West Ham United have endured a difficult start to their campaign.
West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and hinted that Manuel Pellegrini should be looking to rotate his team in time for next weekend’s trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal.
The Hammers have begun their 2018/19 campaign in woeful fashion, after losing both fo their opening two games against Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively, and the pressure is already mounting on Manuel Pellegrini.
The Chilean brought nine new faces into the London Stadium this summer, for in excess of £100 million, and there have been obvious teething problems, although that is not to say that they weren’t expected.
Snodgrass, who was tipped for an exit from the club this summer, told the club’s official website how he believes Pellegrini might just be forced into making changes for the Arsenal clash:
“I think when you look back at the goals on Saturday we’ll be very disappointed, but the only way to get better is by sticking at it, working on the training ground and trying to stop the mistakes like that. It’s up to the manager what he does, what rotation he makes and what squad he picks to stop goals like that. He will look at the game and try to assess it, and I think whoever it is we need to learn quick.”
Arsenal away will be an incredibly tough game for West Ham, and if they are to have any chance whatsoever of returning to east London with anything to show for their efforts, Pellegrini will need all of his players to be at their very best, regardless of what team he chooses.
