West Ham forward Michail Antonio says that he is recovering well from a hamstring injury.
Towards the end of last season, Michail Antonio suffered a “siginificant” hamstring injury that ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Antonio suffered the injury in the early stages of a crucial victory over Swansea. He underwent surgery subsequently.

The 27-year-old was one of the key players for the Hammers last season. He scored nine goals in 29 top flight appearances, and played in multiple positions as per the requirement of the team.
Antonio signed a new four-year deal at West Ham in May, and has been working on fitness for a return to first team action.
Slaven Bilic said recently that Antonio is ahead of schedule in terms of recovery, but the Hammers boss hinted that the player could miss the opening week of the 2017/18 season.

The former Nottingham Forest player has posted a message on Instagram, where he gave a positive update on his injury. He is already doing training sessions, and says that the hamstring is “coming on well”.
West Ham fans are hoping a speedy recovery but doesn’t want him to rush back. Here are some of the selected tweets:
