West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has suggested in The Sun that Manchester United should sell Paul Pogba.

Brady does not believe that Pogba is worth the almost £600,000-a-week salary that he is reported to be demanding.

According to a recent report in Tuttosport, the former Juventus midfielder wants a weekly salary of €600,000 (£534,354.54m) in order to sign a new contract with the Red Devils.

Brady has suggested that United should sell the France international just as West Ham parted company with Marko Arnautovic in the summer transfer window.

Brady wrote in The Sun: “Pogba might yet become as good as he thinks he is. But not, I suspect, with United.

“My advice is simple. Tell him to clear off as West Ham did with Marco Arnautovic. In the end he was just a greedy pest.”

Mixed second Manchester United spell

There is no doubt that Pogba is a brilliant footballer, but the Frenchman’s second spell at United has been mixed.

While there have been many games where he has been superb, the 26-year-old has been disappointing several times and has failed to rise to the occasion.

During his spell at Juventus, Pogba established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe, but the 26-year-old has not really progressed at United since his return to Old Trafford in 2016 when Jose Mourinho was the manager.
