West Bromwich Albion should consider a move for the West Ham United striker.
West Brom boss Darren Moore has a lot of work to do at the Hawthorns this summer, if he is to take his side immediately back up to the Premier League, and West Ham’s Jordan Hugill could be just the man to fire them back to the top flight.
The Baggies were quite frankly impotent in front of goal last season, and the 31 goals that they scored in the Premier League was the third worst in the division.
Their lack of goals proved to be a major contributing factor behind their relegation down to the Championship, and it will be an area where Darren Moore will be desperate to address this summer.
With that in mind, West Brom should consider a move for West Ham hitman Jordan Hugill.
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Preston North End in January this year, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £8 million, but he has failed to establish himself at the London Stadium, and failed to register a single goal.
It could be argued that he was not given a fair chance, however, after being handed just three substitute appearances.
Hugill’s record in the Championship with Preston makes for far better reading, with 20 goals scored in his last 71 outings, although it is his all around game that is the most impressive aspect of his play.
The West Ham man is strong in the air, is not afraid to mix things up physically with the opposition, and he would act as a fantastic focal point for West Brom to build their attacks through.
And if Moore manages to bring the Hammers ace to the Hawthorns this summer, it could tun out to be a signing of real significance for the Baggies.
