West Ham United youngster Domingos Quina should join Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, just like former Manchester City prospect Jadon Sancho did.
According to The Sun, Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Domingos Quina from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has been on the books of West Ham since 2016 and has a contract with the London club until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The youngster has yet to break into the Hammers’ first team on a regular basis, and it would be a wise idea to move to Dortmund.
Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in Germany and regularly compete for the Champions League places.
In what is a very attack-minded domestic football league with superb atmosphere at stadiums, a player of the quality and skills of Quina would thrive.
The West Ham teenager should also take inspiration from Jadon Sancho, who left Manchester City for Dortmund in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £8 million.
The 18-year-old forward – a rising star in world football – was never going to play regularly for City, and the England Under-19 international made a wise decision in switching to the Bundesliga club.
The youngster may have made only six appearances in Bundesliga so far this season, but he is developing well and has a far greater chance of establishing himself in Dortmund’s first team than he would have had in the City side.
Quina should not expect to be guaranteed a place in the Dortmund starting lineup next season should he make the move to Germany, but the Portugal Under-19 international attacking midfielder would progress well playing in a very competitive environment.
