The West Ham United ace would be a useful addition to the Nottingham Forest squad this summer.
Reds boss Mark Warburton will be desperately trying to bolster his attacking options at the City Ground this summer, as he looks to guide his side to a successful Championship campaign this season, and possibly even lead them to a place inside the play-off spots.
With this in mind, an interesting option for Forest could be Hammers striker Diafra Sakho, who could be deemed as surplus to requirements at West Ham, what with Javier Hernandez’ impending arrival at the London Stadium.
The Senegal international really struggled with injuries last term, making just four appearances for Slaven Bilic’s slide, but has now returned to peak levels, both physically and mentally.

The 27-year-old is renowned for his tireless work-rate, and his willingness to make selfless runs into the channels, which would help create more space in the middle of the park for the Forest midfield players to operate.
Sakho possesses impressive pace over short distances, and has the uncanny knack of finding space in tight areas. He has already proven that he is capable of dealing with the robust nature of the English game, and is no slouch in front of goal either, having scored 20 goals in 54 outings during his time with the Hammers.
The former Metz hitman has just 12 months remaining on his current deal in east London, so the east Midlands outfit could secure themselves a real bargain, with West Ham unlikely to risk losing him for nothing next year.
And if Warburton does manage to bring him to the City Ground this summer, it could turn out to be a real coup for Forest.
