This is a player who clearly loves the club, which is promising because no doubt bigger fish will try and lure him away from East London in the summer transfer window.
He might not be another Mark Noble as far as commitment and loyalty goes, but if Pellegrini can keep him beyond the summer then what a team they could be next season if the recruitment is right.
