West Ham United youngster Declan Rice posted two images on Twitter showing him alongside Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane.

Declan Rice has taken to Twitter to post two images of himself alongside Harry Kane, with one showing the West Ham midfielder alongside the Tottenham star before either had made their international debut, and another showing the pair in their England kits following the win in Montenegro on Monday night.
Rice got the chance to make his first start for the Three Lions in Gareth Southgate’s side’s latest Euro 2020 qualifier, having made his debut on Friday night at home to Czech Republic.
The West Ham ace looked assured on the ball and provided the defence with the cover that they would have wanted from the 20-year-old. It was certainly the performance of a player who appears to have a long international career ahead of him.
And he marked the occasion by posting an image on social media showing the Irons star alongside Kane in the dressing room after the emphatic victory.

The tweet also included an image of the pair from 2014. Rice confirmed that he asked the Spurs striker for the picture on that occasion. Interestingly, Kane would not make his senior debut for England until 2015, so it is not just Rice who can reflect on a whirlwind journey over the past five years.
Kane now captains Southgate’s men and is well on his way towards breaking the goalscoring records for both club and country – two achievements he may well have never imagined possible back in 2014 when an unknown West Ham academy prospect asked for a photo.
