The West Ham United goalkeeper would be a useful addition to the West Bromwich Albion squad.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis would surely like to strengthen his goalkeeping options ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign, with both Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill on the wrong side of 34.

With this in mind, West Brom should consider a move for Hammers stopper Darren Randolph, whose future at the London Stadium is uncertain to say the least following Joe Hart’s arrival in east London earlier this week.

The 30-year-old West Ham ‘keeper would provide stringent competition for Foster, and would keep the former England international on his toes throughout the entirety of the campaign.

Standing at 6ft 3in, the Republic of Ireland international cuts an imposing figure, and his impressive physique enables him to command his 18-yard box with great authority.

Randolph is a popular player amongst his teammates, and is a natural leader, which would see him fit in perfectly at the Hawthorns.

The former Birmingham City stopper still has three years remaining on his current deal with he Hammers, but the Daily Mail claim that he is considering his options amidst concrete interest from Middlesbrough.

The Black Country outfit do have the advantage of being able to offer the Irishman Premier League football though, which could hold huge sway in his decision-making process.

West Brom will not be able to guarantee Randolph first-team football, however, which could most definitely go against them, if they do in fact decide to make a concrete move for the West Ham man.

If Pulis can find a way of convincing the Hammers ace into making the switch to the Baggies though, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for them this season.
