Norwich City have arguably the Championship’s most thrilling creative talent – if Cameron Jerome can score for fun, so can West Ham’s Ashley Fletcher.

West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher was hardly given a look in by Slaven Bilic
You have to applaud Ashley Fletcher for his maturity. After all, few players would make the executive decision to leave a club of Manchester United’s size at the age of just 20 in the hope of securing more regular game time, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
So far, however, Fletcher’s decision has not exactly gone to plan. The Bradford-born striker has started just two Premier League games in his debut season for West Ham and spent most of 2017 consigned to early Saturday reserve games.
Therefore, you’d expect that he would jump at the chance to leave on loan in the summer. The Daily Mirror report that Premier League new-boys Huddersfield Town, plus Championship trio Middlesbrough, Fulham and Norwich City are all interested.

And if Fletcher wants to return to the London Stadium with his reputation enhanced, he should give serious thought to the latter duo in particular.
Fetch Fletch
Fulham finished sixth and eventually lost out to Reading in the play-off semi-finals while Norwich’s dodgy defence meant they missed out on the top six altogether. Nonetheless, the duo scored more goals than any second tier side other than Champions Newcastle United, plundering 85 in 46 league games.
However, with Fulham facing a battle to hold onto midfield maestro Tom Cairney and teen sensation Ryan Sessegnon, The Cottagers may have missed their chance to return to the promised land.
Fulham’s Tom Cairney may not be around to create chances for Fletcher next season
Norwich, meanwhile, do not appear to be under the same kind of pressure to sell their stars. As it stands, The Canaries may have the league’s most fearsome creative talent at their disposal with Alex Pritchard, Josh Murphy, Wes Hoolahan and co to pick from. Cameron Jerome’s one-in-two ratio last season speaks volumes.
Therefore, Fletcher will not be short of ammunition if he chooses Carrow Road. And scoring for fun in the second tier wouldn’t harm his chances of making waves at West Ham in the near future.
Norwich could be seeing a lot of this next season
