West Ham United haven’t really seen the best of Andriy Yarmolenko yet.

West Ham United winger Andriy Yarmolenko has told Zbirna in his native Ukraine that he has spoken to manager Manuel Pellegrini about his lack of playing time.
The Hammers splashed more than £100million on new signings this summer, and brought in a Premier League title-winner as manager in Pellegrini.
Unfortunately for West Ham, it has been a dismal start to the season, as Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers means they have now lost all four of their Premier League games this term.
Pellegrini is already under increasing pressure, and the major investment over the summer doesn’t appear to have made any difference to West Ham’s fortunes so far.
One of West Ham’s big signings was winger Andriy Yarmolenko, as he arrived from Borussia Dortmund in a £17.5million deal, earning £100,000-a-week in wages (The Times).
Whilst he was highly regarded at Dynamo Kiev in his native Ukraine and showed glimpses of his quality with Dortmund, the 28-year-old has yet to even start a Premier League game for West Ham.

His four substitute appearances only total 107 minutes of action, and fans have been left bemused and worried about the wide man’s situation at the London Stadium.
Now, Yarmolenko has spoken to Zbirna back in his native Ukraine, and revealed that he has in fact spoken to Pellegrini about his lack of playing time, with the Chilean telling him not to worry just yet – and the winger himself acknowledged that he needs time to adjust.
“I talked with him and he said that I do not need to worry that everything will be fine,” said Yarmolenko. “Do not forget that because of my injury, I missed the pre-season training. It takes a little time to fully understand what English football is like,” he added.
