West Ham United have been linked with a move for the Inter Milan winger.
According to a report from Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Inter Milan have contacted West Ham to offer them the services of Antonio Candreva, but the Hammers should be wary of bringing the Italian to the London Stadium.
West Ham have made some very poor mistakes in the transfer market over the past few years, bringing in foreign players who are well past their best for big transfer fees and extortionate wages.
And the 31-year-old Candreva could very well fit into that category.

The 54-capped Italy international joined Inter from Lazio in the summer of 2016, and he has gone on to rack up eight goals and 19 assists in 82 appearances for the Nezaruzzi – an underwhelming return for a winger.
The main concern for the Hammers, however, should be the fact that the Serie A is played at a far more pedestrian pace than the Premier League, and Candreva could very well find it hard to acclimatise to the step up in intensity, especially given the fact that he is on the wrong side of 31.
West Ham will surely be a more energetic, high-octane outfit under Manuel Pellegrini this season, and in order for the Chilean to implement his philosophy at the club, he will need to strengthen his ranks accordingly.
And it is highly doubtful that Candreva fits the profile of the kind of players who the Hammers need this summer.
