West Ham United have recently been linked with a move for Mexican international winger Jurgen Damm.

The Sun is reporting that Damm is a £4 million target for Slaven Bilic’s side and that the six-cap Mexico international is keen on a move to London.

He currently plays his football for Tigres UANL in Mexico and trialled at Manchester United when he was a teenager.

In signing him, West Ham would certainly be adding one dimension to their team … pace, and lots of it.

According to a report conducted by Mexican side Pachuca in March 2015, as reported by Bleacher Report, Damm is the second fastest player in world football with the ball at his feet – with only Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale ahead of him in the pecking order.

The report suggested that, with the ball at his feet, Damm can clock a speed of 35.23 km/h in a top ten containing the likes of Antonio Valencia, Theo Walcott and Cristiano Ronaldo.

West Ham, who have had to endure the sloppy pace of Robert Snodgrass, would certainly welcome some dynamism on the flanks if they could conclude a bargain buy for Damm this summer.
