Hammers summer signing Sofiane Feghouli sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and explained how he is now beginning to prove his true worth to the club, highlighting how his productivity during the last few games is evidence of his improvement.
The Algerian struggled to settle initially, following his move to East London from Valencia on a free transfer, and his season hit a real low when he was unfairly sent off by Mike Dean against Manchester United on January 2nd, as rumours began to circulate regarding his future at the London Stadium.
But results for the team have since improved, along with Fehgouli’s performances, with the 27-year-old playing a key role in West Ham’s recent resurgence.
And he sat down for an interview with WHUFC.com, expressing his current happiness with his form for the Hammers, whilst highlighting how his overall contribution to Slaven Bilic’s side has improved immensely:
“I am happy, because it was important for me to take my chance. Before this moment, I had less opportunities to show my worth, so when I had the chance to play it was important to take it. I am happy with my form and I am also happy with my stats, as I have scored two goals and I’ve also contributed some decisive passes. So, I am pleased with my personal performance, but more important is the collective performance and I hope we can remain in the top ten.”

The former Valencia man has scored two goals and chipped in with two assists during the 14 Premier League games he has played for the Hammers so far this term, but his displays over the past few weeks have shown what he is truly capable of.
Feghouli and co have been enjoying a mid-season warm weather training camp in Dubai over this past week, and return to action in the Premier League on Saturday when they travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford.
And if the Algerian can continue his fine run of form, who knows how far West Ham can go this season.
