Michail Antonio has sent a hilarious warning to London rivals Fulham on Twitter ahead of Friday night’s match between West Ham United and the west Londoners – with the help of Ali G.
The Hammers will be looking to end a winless run of five games by beating struggling Fulham at home, after AFC Bournemouth, AFC Wimbledon and Wolverhampton Wanderers, before drawing with Liverpool and Crystal Palace.
Antonio, 28, is expected to start after being included in Manuel Pellegrini’s starting eleven for the last five league games. He has scored one and created another in his last two outings.
The former Nottingham Forest attacker posted on Twitter as east Londoners West Ham take on west Londoners Fulham, claiming that on Friday night, West Ham will show “east side is the best”.
Fulham are in desperate need of points and fast, with Claudio Ranieri’s side now eight points adrift of safety in 19th place. They have managed just three points from their last possible 21.
Meanwhile, the Hammers could leapfrog Everton into ninth place with a win, before the Toffees go up against Cardiff City next Tuesday. A win for West Ham would also put them within a point of eighth-placed Watford.
