Southampton should consider a loan move for the West Ham United winger this summer.

West Ham’s Grady Diangana might be a useful addition for Southampton this summer.
With Robert Snodgrass having put pen to paper on a new deal with the Hammers, Diangana might have to leave on loan in order to play regularly next season, and the Saints would be the ideal club for him to continue his development.
The 21-year-old is a tricky winger who possesses pace in abundance, and he could be a real asset for Southampton.
He is young, hungry and will have a point to prove – three things that make him perfect for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s setup at St Mary’s.
The Austrian told German publication Sport Bild earlier this summer the type of players who is he looking to recruit at Southampton:
“We want players who fit our philosophy: lots of speed, high pressing, game intelligence. None of them should be older than 24 years. I have had good experiences with that at [RB] Leipzig. I’ve learned to develop young players and see that you can succeed with them.”
And Diangana would be just the ticket.
West Ham would benefit from the 21-year-old gaining experience of playing under Hasenhuttl’s exciting footballing philosophy.

Southampton, meanwhile, would be getting a young player with bags of potential, who would help them continue to evolve under Hasenhuttl.
In an ideal scenario, Diangana would excel at Southampton, helping them push for a top 10 finish, and return to West Ham a better player next summer.
And in that case, everyone would be a winner.
