Should West Ham revisit interest in Leeds linked ace?

German newspaper BILD report Leeds United are keen to sign Hoffenheim winger Steven Zuber.
Zuber is a player who has been linked with a move to England before, with West Ham credited with interest.
In 2017 West Ham were named by Estadio Deportivo as one of three sides interested in Zuber, along with Sevilla and Juventus.
Zuber remains at Hoffenheim, but the German side could finally be ready to cash in.
He has only 18 months left on his contract, and has started only six league games this season.
Zuber remains a player who would benefit West Ham, due to his versatility.

He can play as a winger, and also as a left-back, filling in for Switzerland at the position during the World Cup.
This is an area where West Ham have struggled this season with Arthur Masuaku failing to impress.
Zuber will reportedly take some convincing to drop down to the Championship with Leeds, so West Ham would have an edge if they revisited interest.
The calibre of sides interested in Zuber just some 18 months ago, particularly Juventus, shows Leeds could have a gem if they can win the race for his signature and persuade him to join.
