West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has been impressed by Manuel Pellegrini so far.

Wilshere only joined West Ham from Arsenal this summer, but he has been training with his new teammates for over a week now.
And the central midfielder says that Pellegrini’s training sessions have been intense since he arrived.
He said: “[Manuel] is really hands-on on the pitch. He’s trying to change things as obviously we’re still getting used to him and he’s getting used to us
“The training has been quite intense, but it’s what we need and what I need, especially, after a long time off. I’ve only been back for ten days, so I’m feeling fitter and fitter each day.”
Wilshere is expected to have a key role to play at West Ham in the upcoming campaign, as Pellegrini shapes his squad.

The Hammers have been looking to add quality in midfield, and Wilshere should offer them creativity and drive.
West Ham beat off considerable competition to land Wilshere on a free transfer, after his contract at Arsenal expired.
Pellegrini’s side’s competitive campaign starts on 12th August, when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
