West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has left the door open for a January exit from the London Stadium with his comments in the Daily Star, and that should alert West Bromwich Albion to the striker’s potential availability.

Sakho has proven that he can score goals at the top level, and he has found the net in both rounds of the EFL cup so far.

West Brom were interested in snapping up Sakho in the summer of 2016, according to BBC Sport, but they were unable to get a deal over the line.

Tony Pulis’ side still seem to be shot of a natural goalscorer, and Sakho could fill that void – if he is given a chance.

And West Brom should be keeping a key eye on Sakho’s progress at West Ham in the coming months, as he could be an ideal option for them in the January transfer window.
