West Ham United’s Declan Rice was pleased to see Mason Mount make his debut for Chelsea on Sunday.

West Ham United youngster Declan Rice has expressed his delight on Twitter at Mason Mount playing for Chelsea against Manchester United at the weekend.
Mount, who spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Championship club Derby County, started for Chelsea in their Premier League game against United away from home at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
The 20-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Frank Lampard’s side lost 4-0.
West Ham youngster Rice, who is 20 years of age and can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, was pleased to see Mount make his debut for Chelsea.

Mount is a very talented and promising young midfielder who can be a star for Chelsea in the coming years, but against United, the 20-year-old’s performance left much to be desired.
The youngster pressed well when Chelsea were on the offensive, but he faded away as the game wore on.
According to WhoScored, Mount took two shots and both were on target, played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 81.6%, took 61 touches, made three tackles and one clearance, and put seven crosses.
