Oxford United fans have raved about Oxford United youngster Marcus Browne, after his performance for them last night.

Oxford have made an awful start to the season and sit at rock bottom of the League One table, but things could have been worse without the West Ham youngster in their line-up.

Browne has scored twice in his first three games, and although he was unable to stop the U’s from falling to a 3-2 defeat last night, the West Ham loanee is still earning rave reviews.

Browne has always been considered one of West Ham’s top prospects, and he has been offered the opportunity to go out on loan to show his talents.

The attacking midfielder certainly seems to be a level above League One, with teams in the third tier struggling to cope with him.

Whether Browne can now continue to impress with Oxford and then go back to West Ham and force his way into Manuel Pellegrini’s side remains to be seen.

West Ham have recently seen Martin Samuelsen, Reece Burke and Josh Cullen all impress at League One level, but all three of the players have struggled to make an impact in a higher league.
