West Ham United were beaten 1-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium this weekend.

Adama Traore poses during a portrait session as he is unveiled as a new signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers, at Molineux on August 7, 2018 in Wolverhampton, England.

Adama Traore showed West Ham United fans exactly what they were missing with his cameo against them for Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.

West Ham were heavily linked with a move for the winger back in January, when he was at Middlesbrough.

The Northern Echo claimed that David Moyes had wanted to bring in Traore when he was at Wolves, but West Ham were unable to do a deal with Middlesbrough.

In the end, it was Wolves who snapped up the rapid forward, and that looks like it could prove to be a smart move.

Traore has made a promising start at Wolves, and he certainly proved how much of a threat he could be to West Ham.

Traore burst past Aaron Cresswell at the weekend before finishing beyond Lukas Fabianski in the last minute to provide Wolves with the three points.

The defeat pilled further misery on West Ham, and the goal was made even harder to take, through the knowledge that Traore could have been lining up in their shirt, if they had pushed harder to sign him nine months ago.
