West Ham United are said to be eager to sign Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City.

According to the London Evening Standard, West Ham United could make a move for Kelechi Iheanacho this summer, and the transfer could be one of the most exciting signings the London club have made in years.
Iheanacho appears to be ready to burst on to the scene, but at Manchester City he faces a huge amount of competition to earn a starting place.

There is no shame in being behind Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero in the pecking order for a starting place, and realistically City are the only club in the Premier League who could afford to let a talent like Iheanacho go.
City’s loss could be West Ham’s gain though, as the Nigerian looks to be a special talent.

Iheanacho has netted 21 goals in the Premier League since breaking into the first-team already, and he has a clinical edge about his game which simply cannot be taught.
At £20 million he looks a relative bargain in the modern day market – especially when considering West Ham’s other strike target Daniel Sturridge is valued at double that price by Liverpool (Daily Mail) – and if West Ham did manage to complete a deal for Iheanacho it would surely be one of the best buys of the summer.
