And Snodgrass should look at a potential move to Hillsborough as an excellent opportunity.
Snodgrass may want to stay in the Premier League with West Ham, but his chances look like they could be limited at the London Stadium.
The 29-year-old, at this stage of his career, shouldn’t risk spending a year on the bench – even if there is a temptation to stay in the Premier League.
And although he would be taking a drop in leagues to move to Wednesday, it could be one step backwards to take two forwards.
The Owls are well placed to earn promotion, and Snodgrass’ arrival would surely leave Carlos Carvalhal’s with the best attack in the division.
Snodgrass would be handed a key role at Wednesday, and if he could help guide them to promotion, the winger’s move to Yorkshire would make perfect sense.
