West Ham United have failed to win any of their first four Premier League matches under Manuel Pellegrini’s guidance.
West Ham have looked poor over the early stages of the season, and have failed to win any of their first four matches.
The Hammers are currently sat at rock bottom of the Premier League table, but Antonio says that training has been productive over the international break.
“We’ve been working on shape and tactical stuff and tying things down,” Antonio said.
“We’ve obviously signed nine new players and it takes time to gel as you can see in the games, where we’re passing balls where we think people should be and getting things a little bit muddled up. We just need to learn more about each other and I do see it coming good.”
If Pellegrini’s shape work has been effective then West Ham should look a much better team for it.
The Hammers have been all at sea over the first few matches, with their defence looking very vulnerable.
West Ham’s defensive line has been caught out on multiple occasions, with concerns rising about the direction that Pellegrini’s side are heading.
West Ham’s next match comes against an Everton side who have impressed this season at the London Stadium.
